We recommend that you bring your jewels to Burma Jars annually to have them checked and restored to their original splendor.
You can also send your jewelry to us for repairs by Express or Economy Post Services. Before sending your jewelry to us please be in touch with our customer service by Email or whatsapp for instructions on how to proceed.

The base metal of Burma Jars' Fine Jewelry is 18k solid gold unless otherwise stated.

Color can be yellow, white or rose gold.
For example, ruby usually set in yellow while sapphire in white.
But different people have different taste.

Due to the personal preference on the gold color,we do re-plating on demand.
Gold plating is a process where a thin layer of gold is bonded onto our solid gold jewelry.
It is quite common method in the jewelry world.

Plating can last about 1-2 years, depending on the amount of wear that can be seen. You will know when your jewelry needs to be re-plated again because you will start to see glimmers of yellow gold showing through the coating of the plating.

At Burma Jars, we annually re-plate pieces purchased from our gallery and it is free of charge as a service to our customers.

A personalized message or name engraved on a jewelry can capture the essence of a moment in time or feeling unique to you and your loved ones.
We can help to engrave on the jewellery you purchased from us.

We will probably only charge a small fee for engraving.

All products from Burma Jars come with a warranty that covers manufacturing defects. If you come across a manufacturing defect in any of our jewelry pieces, we will promptly repair it at no cost to you.

Manufacturing defects in precious fine jewelry encompass flaws or issues that arise during production and affect the craftsmanship, gemstone setting, closures, or structural integrity of the piece.

NOTE : Manufacturing defects in fine jewelry do not include natural characteristics such as inclusions, color variations, or minor imperfections in gemstones. The presence or absence of these characteristics is a personal choice and often influences the pricing of the jewelry.

Please be aware that the warranty for manufacturing defects does not cover issues that may arise from improper care, mishandling, or inadequate storage of the jewelry.

If you wish to add a personal touch to the jewelry you have purchased from us and have specific preferences in mind, we offer an exclusive modification option that caters to your individual taste. This option includes the ability to change stones, clasps, chains, and earring backings, as well as the option to shorten necklaces and add extensions.

NOTE : This service is separate from the warranty and may involve additional costs for materials, labor, and design work. We cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred during the modification process.

However, we strongly advise carefully considering your initial jewelry purchase. The presence or absence of certain characteristics is a personal choice that often influences the pricing of the jewelry. It is recommended to select jewelry that already meets your preferences and requirements, rather than relying heavily on modifications.

Additionally, we reserve the right to reject a modification request if it poses a high potential impact on the jewelry, involves associated risks, or requires significant costs and timelines.
